POSTPONED – Seizing the available tools for the EU to develop winning strategies to halt deforestation

Due to the recent developments in the situation with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we regrettably have decided to postpone the event « Seizing the available tools for the European Union to develop winning strategies to halt deforestation » originally scheduled to take place in the European Parliament on the 25th March. The health and safety of our guests and participants are of greatest importance, therefore we do not feel that it would be advisable to host the event at this point in time.
We kindly ask you for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Nevertheless, the importance of the topic is crucial, thus we will make sure to have it at another, more convenient time, possible at the end of April or in the beginning of May.
As soon as we know more, we will inform you of a new date for our event.

Building upon the broad and lively discussion of last week’s International Conference on Forests for Biodiversity and Climate, Farm Europe is pleased to organise the event:
Seizing the available tools for the European Union to develop winning strategies to halt deforestation
The event will give the opportunity to present a detailed, practical oriented perspective on how innovation can be used today effectively and efficiently on a large scale to protect the world’s forests by stepping up the efforts on stopping deforestation and achieving deforestation-free commodities to combat imported deforestation.
The event is organized under the patronage of Irène Tolleret (Renew Europe) and will feature presentations on crosscutting technological options by AIRBUS and EarthWorm.
