Farm Europe will present the recommandations of the Global Food Forum at the European Parliament in Brussels on the 7th of February and launch the 2017 GFF edition. The event will take place under the patronage of MEPs Michel Dantin and Giovanni La Via, with Mr Phil Hogan, European Commissioner For Agriculture and Rural Development, keynote speaker 

The developments around carbon farming represent major impact on the way farmers operate across Europe, and an opportunity to define a common EU standard for the transparent identification of activities that remove carbon from the atmosphere in a sustainable way.
