WORKING SESSION on “digital farming: how to deliver economic and environmental performance”

Opening remarks by Alina Ujupan, Cabinet Member of Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner in charge of the Digital Economy and Society.

Challenges and potential :
– On-going developments in the wine sector by Fotis Chatzipapadopoulos, Gaia Epicheirein
– Presentation of first results in the 1000 Fermes Leader Project by Carole Rocca, In Vivo

The discussion on how to promote the digitalisation of EU agriculture and how to integrate it into a smart Common Agricultural Policy was chaired by Jean-Marc Bournigal, Director General of AGPB & former President of Irtsea (L‘Institut de Convergence Agriculture Numérique).
