“Promoting EU agricultural products:  an ambition whose time has come”, with Mr. Diego CANGA FANO, Multilateral relations and quality policy Director at DG AGRI (European Commission)

The reform of the  policy on promotion of agri-food products is intended to symbolise a Europe that is not afraid to be ambitious for its food sector and that aims to contribute to global food supply through its exports. The impact of this new tool will depend on the adequacy of the strategy currently being drawn up by the European Commission, on how easy programmes will be to implement and on the capacity of  stakeholders to access the funding available with effective campaigns.
