image003Farm Europe is pleased to invite you to a breakfast event “Securing EU farmers in an open world: the next step to improve risk and crisis management tools” which will be held on Thursday 29 November 2018 from 8h00 to 9h30 at the European Parliament in Brussels, room JAN6Q1, under the patronage of MEP Peter Jahr.

The discussion will be opened by MEP Peter Jahr.

João Pacheco will present Farm Europe’s study on how to better structure the EU crisis reserve and improve risk management tools, while Professor Jean Cordier (AgroCampus) will provide a short overview of the capacity of these tools to improve the resilience of EU farms (based on the Study on risk management in EU agriculture“, financed by the European Commission and carried out by Ecorys, Stichting Wageningen Research and different experts).

It will be then followed by a discussion with EU economic and political leaders.
