We are pleased to invite you to the event Transatlantic Sustainability Dialogue – Bridging an agricultural understanding, which is taking place on the 27th of October at 15:00 organized by Farm Europe and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Farm Europe and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) are launching a series of events to reflect on the sustainability of agriculture on both sides of the Atlantic.

There may be different practices, traditions, and ways of farming between the United States and EU, but there is agreement on the need for sustainability to reflect environmental, social and economic dimensions.

In this first event we will listen to both the voices of political leadership, policy experts, and farmers, to deepen our mutual knowledge and explore ways to bridge an agricultural understanding between Europe and the United States. As the EU launches the Farm to Fork and Biodiversity strategies and finalizes the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), USDA moves forward with the Agriculture Innovation Agenda (AIA) and Science Blueprint 2020-25. The timing couldn’t be more perfect for a “Transatlantic Sustainability Dialogue”.

The event will be held on the Zoom platform, which you can access through the following link on the day of the event: https://zoom.us/j/98164000220
